I provide assessment and therapy services for infants, children and youth up to 18 years of age, and consultation to parents.
Assessment services for:
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Developmental Disability
- Learning Disability
- Social-emotional Issues and Mood Disorders
While psycho-educational or social-emotional assessments may be focused on ruling out some of the diagnostic issues noted above, assessment may also simply describe learning style, with recommendations for school program, including building on strengths, and addressing weaknesses.
Psycho-educational assessments usually involve a 1-hour intake/history session, 5 to 6 hours of direct assessment, a 1 ½ hour feedback session, and a detailed report. The assessment measures selected and the amount of time will vary according to age and the specific referral concerns.
